A MESSIANIC BIBLE STUDY TAKEN FROM ROMANS 8

~ Superconquerors ~ Romans 8:37-39 (CJB) ~

Many seem to think that Romans 8:32, where it says: “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?” is another promise that God will give us anything we ask for in prayer. But this is not the case at all. It is instead a promise that we will be given the power of the Holy Spirit to do as Yahshua did: teaching, comforting, healing, prophesying, praying, loving and caring for others, and that we will also be given the strength in Him to suffer as He did for the sake of righteousness and the Kingdom of God. This is made clear when the verse is read in context, where it also says that we will suffer distress and persecution just as Yahshua did, and we will be like lambs led to the slaughter, just as He was:

~*~ Romans 8:28-39 ~ Complete Jewish Bible ~*~
“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with his purpose; 29 because those whom he knew in advance, he also determined in advance would be conformed to the pattern of his Son, so that he might be the firstborn among many brothers; 30 and those whom he thus determined in advance, he also called; and those whom he called, he also caused to be considered righteous; and those whom he caused to be considered righteous he also glorified!

What, then, are we to say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He who did not spare even his own Son, but gave him up on behalf of us all — is it possible that, having given us his Son, he would not give us everything else too? So who will bring a charge against God’s chosen people? Certainly not God — he is the one who causes them to be considered righteous! Who punishes them? Certainly not the Messiah Yeshua, who died and — more than that — has been raised, is at the right hand of God and is actually pleading on our behalf! Who will separate us from the love of the Messiah? Trouble? Hardship? Persecution? Hunger? Poverty? Danger? War? As the Tanakh puts it,

“For your sake we are being put to death all day long,
we are considered sheep to be slaughtered.”

No, in all these things we are superconquerors, through the one who has loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor other heavenly rulers, neither what exists nor what is coming, neither powers above nor powers below, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from the love of God which comes to us through the Messiah Yeshua, our Lord.”
Yes, for Yahshua's sake, all true believers are as lambs led to the slaughter, and many of us are being killed and persecuted all over the world. It's time we all faced the fact that being a believer is a dangerous business that puts us all on the front lines of a spiritual battle that is always raging around us in the heavens and in the unseen spirit realms all over the Earth. This is why we need to stay near to Yahshua our beloved Messiah, seeking His strength and Holy Spirit power to bear all things and believe all things and do all the things that our Father God Yahweh calls us to do. For in this life - if we are truly following the Way of Yahshua - we will suffer for His sake at times, and some of us will even die for His sake.

Indeed, suffering will not stop being a part of our lives until we go to be with Yahshua at the time of our death or the Rapture, whichever will come first for us. So do not think you are being abandoned by God or being signaled out by God for punishment when things go badly for you in this life. As long as we live in this world and are seeking to do God's will everyday, the Devil will make sure that we are beset with problems and tribulations, even as we are being blessed by our Father God with many good things and the spiritual strength to bear it all and do everything for Yahshua's sake.

But take heart and gain courage in knowing that the signs are all around us that our beloved Savior and King Yahshua is coming very, very soon in the Rapture for those who love Him more than the world! Amen, and Hallelu-Yah!
